To activate your tag, please follow these simple steps:
Read your new Tap4 tag with your mobile phone, by holding your phone close to the NFC tag until it is recognized. (You will see a message prompting you to open the corresponding URL, or Uniform Resource Locator with your web browser).
If you already have a Tap4 Account, sign in with your credentials and proceed to Step 4.
2. Create an account
If you don’t have a Tap4 Account yet, you will need to create one. Read your new tag and follow the prompts to register for an account. You will need to provide basic information like your name and email address, and create a password.
3. Validate your email address
After registering your new account, Tap4 will send an email to the email address that you provided during registration. Open your email inbox, find the email from Tap4, and click on the validation link to verify your email address.
4. Add your Tap4 tag to your account
Once you are logged into your account, read your new tag again, by holding your phone close to the NFC tag until it is recognized.
5. Create a solution profile or assign an existing one to your tag
If you already have a profile set up on Tap4, you can skip to Step 7.
6. Create a solution profile
If you don’t have a solution profile yet, you need to create one. Choose between a personal or business profile and select the solution that best fits your needs. Follow the prompts to fill out the necessary information for your chosen profile type. Only fill out the fields with information that you want to share. If you leave fields empty, they won’t be shown in your profile.
7. Assign the desired solution to your tag
After creating or logging into your profile, navigate to your inventory within the Tap4 app. Select the solution you want to assign to your NFC Tag from your inventory. Follow the prompts to link the solution to your tag. Once completed, your NFC Tag is now activated with the assigned solution.
